The current agricultural industries are structured through big companies, large monocultures and industrialiesed harvesting mechanisms. It can only survive by using huge amounts of pesdicides and eventually GMOs. Small scale agriculture show the benefits of small farming in order to agroindustry.
How can farmers survive in an ecological, non-industrial way? What are the advantages of small farmers torwards GMO- and industrialised farming? Can small famers nourish worlds population?
