Committees are responsible for administrative and executive work within GYG. They are organised as follows:
- Members are elected every 2 years and each member has a defined role.
- Generally, committees have more responsibilities than working groups, and are expected to fulfill specific tasks.
- Committees set their own objectives and delegate their own tasks in order to put plans of action into effect.
Committees are a great way to develop skills, get further involved with GYG, and work with your counterparts from around the world. Young Green activists are invited to apply, and their work is conducted mainly over the internet.
If you are interested in starting a new Committee or have any question, please email secretary@globalyounggreens.org with an explanation of your idea. Further information will then be provided.
