In March 2012, over 70 young people from all over the world met in the Senegal capital of Dakar for the 3rd Global Young Greens Congress. The 1st Congress was in Nairobi in 2007 and the 2nd in Berlin in 2010. This was a special Congress because it was held at the same time as the 2nd Global Greens Congress.
